- Clean a flat workspace
- Remove medication from the refrigerator 5–10 minutes before use

Step 1: Prepare Your Dose
- Clean the top of the vial with an alcohol pad
- Remove the cap from the syringe
- Pull back the plunger to draw in air (equal to your dose)
- Insert needle into vial and inject air
- Turn vial upside down
- Draw the prescribed dose into the syringe
- Remove air bubbles by gently tapping the syringe

Step 2: Choose an Injection Site
Tirzepatide/Semaglutide is injected into the fatty tissue (subcutaneous layer).
Recommended areas:
- Abdomen (at least 2 inches from the belly button)
- Front of thighs
- Back of upper arms
Rotate injection sites weekly to prevent irritation.

- Clean the injection site with an alcohol pad
- Gently pinch the skin
- Insert the needle at a 90° angle
- Slowly push the plunger until all medication is delivered
- Wait 5 seconds before removing the needle

- Dispose of the syringe in a sharps container
- Do not reuse needles
- Return medication to the refrigerator immediately
